The Convert + Mouseflow integration brings together Convert’s experiment data with Mouseflow’s behavioral analytics tools. Once enabled, Mouseflow automatically tags each recorded session with Convert experiment name, variation ID, and variation name for users bucketed into tests. This enables filtering, segmentation, and deeper analysis of how different variants perform in real user behavior.
You can then use Mouseflow’s session recording, heatmaps, funnels, and form analytics capabilities to see how users interacted with each variant—not just what the metric said. This helps you validate hypotheses, uncover usability issues, and decide with confidence even when tests aren’t clearly conclusive.
Key Capabilities
- Automatically inject Convert experiment + variation metadata into Mouseflow session tags / custom variables
- Filter session recordings in Mouseflow by experiment or variation
- Segment heatmaps, funnels, and form analytics by variation group
- Manual fallback: custom variable push if you prefer manual integration
- View variant behavior insights even when metrics are ambiguous or underpowered
Benefits
- Understand why a variant wins (or loses), by observing real interaction
- Surface usability issues unique to a variant (e.g. layout breaks, mis-clicks)
- Make decisions even when statistical significance is weak
- Increase confidence in deploying changes by triangulating behavior + metrics
- Speed up iteration cycles by reducing guesswork
